Advocacy Tools

Zonta aims to empower our members to influence the creation and implementation of national and local laws, as well as general attitudes and behaviors.  Zonta seeks to take fact-based actions, highlighting the root causes of problems and presenting solutions with proven results. 

Zonta’s advocacy is based on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which provides the platform for action. Although many targets of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will improve women’s lives, Zonta focuses on Goal No. 5: “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.” Current events, as mentioned at the 2025 General Assembly, show that Zonta’s advocacy and the Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women and Girls are needed now more than ever. Together, we are stronger and we are proud of our global impact.
