The Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo wanted to mark the 16 days in a way that might resonate with the community. Sixteen members of the Club are hoping to make a difference by speaking out on an aspect of violence against women and children that is particularly meaningful to them.

Zonta Club of Naga & Camarines Sur meets with GNN TV, doctors at Bicol medical center

Zonta Club of Naga & Camarines Sur, Philippines (District 17, Area 5), at GNN TV48 talked about Zonta International and the campaign to STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. The club said they believe that awareness raising and community mobilization that includes media is important component of an effective prevention strategy.

The Zonta Club of Franklin NC, the Franklin Fire and Rescue, the Macon County Sheriff’s Department and the Franklin Police Department joined together to battle violence against women and children. Orange ribbons, commemorating the effort, were displayed on departmental vehicles.
