Today’s announcement of disciplinary measures by the US Army prompted by a report of an outrageous climate of sexual harassment and abuse at Fort Hood is a reminder of how far we still have to go in the fight to end all kinds of violence against women wherever it exists. That this kind of culture has been tolerated and efforts to combat it have been discouraged in the U.S. military in 2021 is shameful. ZONTA says NO!
