Zonta Club of Thonburi advocates against gender-based violence with Tuk Tuk Parade

On 9 December, the Zonta Club of Thonburi, Thailand, organized a vibrant Tuk Tuk Parade as part of its Zonta Says NO campaign. The parade began at the iconic Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), traveled through historic Thonburi and concluded at Chareanakorn Road, near the Icon Siam Department Store.

The event, supported by local partners such as Soonthorn Metal Can Co. Ltd and other non-Zontians, aimed to raise awareness about gender-based violence. The parade not only highlighted the need to advocate for women and girls but also extended the message to address violence affecting all genders.

Through this creative initiative, the club shared critical information and contact resources, ensuring those in need have access to support and assistance. The Tuk Tuk Parade brought the message of advocacy directly to the community, fostering awareness and promoting action against violence.
